Wrong tyres are the one thing that can transform a pleasant ride out to an unpleasant one in a wooden box. Each to their own, but I would stick to the tyres sold by our host, there is plenty of choice there. Perhaps I still have flashbacks from the '70s when my Suzuki 250 on nasty nylon Bridgestone tyres sent me sliding across the road, over a verge and into a ditch filled with brown cow shit.

Blimey they're cheap! £33 for a 3.50/19 has got to be worth a punt, and even if they're rubbish they can't possibly be any more scarey than the dreaded SkidMasters can they? (at £150 a pair? You're 'avin' a laugh mate!)Do let us now how you get on with these Mitas tyres.
