Thought you might like a chuckle about an Enfield on ebay in Aus at the moment. Bidding war gone completely nuts over a pile of junk. Over $4000 and still several days to run. item number 160800548044 Obviously the way you word an add can suck people in big time

Misrepresentation to the Nth degree. Compare it to this... 190670251365 a bit over restored and I thought a rather keen price but at least it appears genuine!

Peter,
Nothing wrong with that one, probably a bit too nice to hack around on the road though.

Norm, that bike in Aus is a funny one. Early (1953) 500 Bullet engine with a later gearbox (post 55) and fitted into a post 56 Redditch frame. Add on Indian (Madras) rear stays and mudguard and you've a right mongrel! The UK Model G is nice but over 4K is pushing it I'd say, even a Dealer should sell at about 3Kish. It doesn't seem long since Model Gs were impossible to shift, how times change!

Mark,
Out here we have a Meteor Minor ( I think that is what it is) with an Airflow fairing on it, originally it was priced at something like $18000 but now is $13000. We also have a Continental GT with the asking price of $18000. These things usually end up in displays like Jay Lennos because they are too pristine to ride around
