Since the EFI has been around long enough now for a few to have seen winter service, I wondered how they have been standing up to the wear and tear of the British salty roads.

I'm particularly interested in how the engine has held up, which I believe is painted/lacquered.

Cheers

One very cold winter, in Switzerland, we never ran out of salt and grit. No signs of corrosion, except the electro plated nuts on the lower fork ends look a little discoloured. The head block and crankcase would seem to be powder coated and are perfect. Water marks on the ali outer casings were polished after a good spring wash. The old one was not that bad, giving it a rub over pre winter with ACF50. Cheers.
