Hey everyone,

So it is summer time, and getting some work done on my Enfield. But for the life of me I can't figure out how to mount the spiked side stand (37188A). Anyone got it mounted, and has pictures?

I may be totally wrong but dose it go into the hole in place of the rear foot rest hanger. Into the round hole in frame where your rear foot rest hanger would bole once removed if you see what I mean.

how old is the bike is it a bullet of the indian variety ? the spike stand fits in the passenger footpeg mount on my 90,s bullet ,but on my 2004 model i don,t have the tapered hole to fit so my guess is ,that if its not obvious maybe your frame is of the later variety,be careful with that stand mine broke and hitchcocks wouldn,t sell me another bracket and said they were stopping selling that stand all the best paul.

Yep on my 51 bullet the spiked stand mount in the same place as the pillion foot peg would be if I had a pillion seat. Should be a picture somewhere but can easily take one if it would help. The more modern side stand also works well but isn't so rustic.

Thanks so much for the replies, it is a 2001 bullet. So I suppose not obvious, ha, if Bullets were obvious then it would be fun!
I have the old spiked one already, so getting a new stand just because wouldn't be to much fun. A picture would still be helpful though.
