Kevin,
Forks tightened shouldn't cause problems but slacken the pinch bolts and try. Need a bit more info as to why the wheel wont fit.

Hello Norm,
Well when i ,m tightening the wheel ( disk brake Model ) i always seem to get a gap between the speedo and fork non matter what,, when the wheel nut is tightened up the wheel tightens so its hard to spin but there is a gap of about 1/2 inch at the speedo end and adjacent fork i have the spacers in , imn at a loss here ?
cheers kevin

On my Classic (drum brake) the wheel goes tight if I haven't got the speedo drive "dog" engaged correctly when I put hub together...... I've also noticed that the fork seals tend to weep unless I allow fork legs to find their natural spread position by bouncing suspension before tightening cap nuts, they are not necessarily tight against hub each side.

Hi Kevin,
More info required. Disc brake, is this a new fitting? Are you using Classic or Electra lower legs? if Classic where did you get the front axle,(spindle)

Hello 612cc----- whereabouts are you in the country ? Perhaps one of us could take a look at your problem with you ? I've just re-fitted my forks and had similar problems.
