The last nonsense I wrote has appeared but what's odd on MY computer at least is that it's off the edge of the screen and you have to sort of scroll across to read it. Not that the content is worth it...

Alan ~ 5 minutes to post a reply ~ maybe that's the problem,the system may have timed out hence my earlier comment about retarded timing.


Best bet if you're doing a long reply is to copy and paste it into notebook (or similar) before trying to send.At least then you have an instant copy to repaste and resend>

Hi pwayman----you have a good "track record" on here ( Railway joke for those not "in the loop"----sorry, that's another one. I don't think it's a timed thing--------- just look at some of the other postings I've put up recently. War & Peace or wot ?? I have tried to cut & paste---or }--- copy & paste--- but nothing seems to work. Looks like we are still in for a long stretch as well on this thread. You also will loose a part completed post if you go to page 2 or further to check on details that you are replying to.  There---- that's 3 mins---- Bye
