Hi Alan - So far I've never had this happene to me, but no doubt it will sooner or later if it's a known bug. Have you reported it to our hosts?

Until it's fixed here're a suggestion ('work around' in computer speak).

Just before you press the 'Post a reply' button block all of your text from start to finish and then 'right click' on your mouse or touch pad. Next select 'copy'. It will only take a second to do once you've done it a couple of times.

Then post your reply. If all goes well then all well and good, but if your problem occurs you can  start again, but this time simply 'right click' again in  the reply box and press 'Paste' and your text will re-appear.
