Can't do Sunday Paul, bike's testing my patience. Spent this afternoon replacing the kickstart pawl, not too complicated. While I was doing it I looked up and noticed paint bubbling under the petrol tank, turns out the tanks leaking aagh!

great day out ,kevin and i trundled over the pennines to noel,s cafe at rochdale coffee and egg butties all round ,john came then it was off to rivington barn via bury, bolton etc urban riding, met up with chris from stockport on his 500 combination and the chap from boothstown who,s name won,t stick in my empty head DOH! anyway on way back we did a bit of motorway before returning to gods own county (yorkshire) more coffee at kevins,in huddersfield ,then on to south barnsley ,total miles covered by Grunda 133 not bad for a half day bulleteering, anybody interested in setting a royal enfield riders club!!!?

forgot to tell this little tale ,on sunday at Rivington barn ,just as i pulled up on Grunda a bloke strides over and says is it a real one? my reply what do you think ? answer yes its real my reply  oh i,m glad i wouldn,t want to ride an imaginary bike ? he said its not indian ,i said its a genuine indian army bike with a smirk (obviously H reg is 1970 at end 1990 at thee start)when he had gone a gothic looking lady of ample proportions stormed over to me and declared I LOVE IT at that point my reply was whatever gets you moist !! and with that i did a runner quickly over to kevin who was sat on his enfield with the delhi slurry pump motor for the engine ,which was also getting attention ,i also people taking photo,s of Grunda saying  wish i had a real one!! all the best paul ,no people were offended in the telling of this story which happens to be true.
