Had a great night too, thanks to the good company (of thirteen). Thanks Paul for riding all the way from foreign parts, particlarly when you had a soaking on your return trip. Mind you, most arrived on bike and got a soaking also. Only wimps like myself drove in cars. Here's hoping all our future meetings go as well.

Hi John, Lovely venue, easy to find close to the M62 and good company. Well done and thanks  for establishing the new branch and the warm welcome I received. I Have downloaded my application form for the REOC and hope to see most of you for the first run out. I got wet as well on the way home but thats Manchester for you. Ian

Hi Paul, thanks for asking. The ride outs are planned for the 3rd Saturday each month commencing 17 March next, 11.00 am at the Birch Hotel car park. With regards to the Sunday runs, I thought the members were going to decide on a date when we met for the first Saturday run. If I'm wrong about that, I'm sure John Moulton or Noel Buxton will answer the question on this site when they read your query. Best wishes, John

Grrr just typed a reply and it buggered off into infinity, So will try again. Good to meet everyone last night but that shandy clouded my brain .  Ride out 17th yes meet at Birches but wasnt the rivi meet for the 3rd sunday 11am to 3 pm . John One of my jobs is in a cylinder head refurb /tuning company and having spoken with my gaffer today he has tentativly agreed to attend and offer his advice on such matters he also performs some race prep re builds crank balancing etc. He may be able to attend for our may meeting and I wondered if this would be a good time to involve our neighbouring groups. He would appreciate an easy way to do this with pre prepared questions rather than speaking cold .

Noel:  You clearly didn't have too much shandy!  Yes, we did say that the informal meet up at Rivington Barn would be the 3rd Sunday in the month.

Worth mentioning to avoid disappointment, is that we talked about meeting at the TOP barn... bigger, with more bikes than the lower barn.

On the other hand, if you get there and for some reason it is shut, then the lower barn is on the way so you could always drop by and see who's there.  And they have food as well  ; )
