South Lancs Branch

I can now advise you that the South Lancs Branch is established, and has approximately 10 members to date.

Today four of us made arrangements with a local hotel and I can confirm our details are now as follows:-

Venue        Birch Hotel

            Manchester Road

            Birch

            Heywood

            OL10 2QD

Meetings    1st Tuesday of each month commencing  6 March, 2012.

Time        7.30pm

Our facilities included are the heated conservatory, with outside seating and adjacent and exclusive bike parking, or the main car park for cars.  Our meetings will enjoy the inclusion of the usual bar for alcoholic a non-alcoholic drinks, and food if required, served by an extremely friendly staff.

Not only are the Hotel owners acquaintances of myself and Lynn, and originate from India, but they are very tickled to be entertaining members of a branch of a motor cyclists club riding motor bikes which by and large come from Chennai.

Thanks for organising this John. Today's pre-meeting was most enjoyable and the venue looks to be ideal. I can only add that, if today was anything to go by, this will be a successful and enjoyable venture. We all share a love of Enfields whether British or Indian and we just want to meet, chat, share advice and experiences and, of course, ride! Please thank Lynn for her wonderful hospitality and great soup.

Well done John i,m glad your up and running i,ve been out and about today in the car unfortunately!!! although at the roundabout at the mottram side of the m67 i saw a really nice enfield with high level exhaust he may be 1 of your recruits all the best i,ll try to get to your meeting on 6th march weather permitting and grunda behaving all the best Paul west riding reoc.

A quick note to say that the meeting on Tuesday 6th March looks like being a friendly affair from what I've seen so far, so I hope anyone interested will come along. Excellent secure parking for bikes, and adjacent for any cars or combos.
