Mark, I'd love to see some pictures of your bike. How can one axle stand hold your bike upright and steady? I don't get it.... hmmm. I understand one under each foot rest but just one? Alan. I'll let the board know my feedback on the tyres. I've never done much "off road'ing" before though (other than in India with stock tyres) so I don't have much to compare against to be honest. They do hum quiet loudly on tarmac over about 40mph but I've not felt unstable yet. I've solved the front shocks issue whatever it was. I just took them apart and then put them back together again and now they're great (for an Enfield.) I just took her for a dark night time run 5mins ago having rebuilt the shocks (like a kid in a sweet shop I couldn't wait until morning!) She went great but I did hear a quick sharp rubbing noise when I hit a few potholes (hard) on the green lane behind my house. It happend twice but it's dark and I couldn't work out exactly what was going on, I'll have to keep my eye (ear) on that. I can't see it being the front because I have the 21inch guard and stays on an 19inch wheel. Also the stays are fixed to the wheel and hub side of the forks, they are strong well made stays so the guard should move up and down with the wheel. It must have been the back... Hmmmm.
