It doesn't specify the output in my w/shop manual. To test it the manual advises that it should produce 8 to 10 volts ac @ 1,000 rpm - open circuit across any two of its wire (sic) - yellow-yellow. If the voltage is less than this, scrap the bike, sorry; change the alternator. In other words join any two yellow wires from the alternator with it disconnected from the reg/rectifier and measure the ac voltage at 1,000 rpm. It should be 8 to 10 volts. The manual also advises the next step as checking for increased battery voltage with respect to increased revs. If that doesn't happen replace r/r as alternator is ok. Easiest way is to turn on headlight and see if it goes brighter when the engine is revved. Of course, if all you wanted to know is the maximum output so that you can work out what goodies it will power, disregard all of this....
