You folks are making me wonder. When I did a precautionary engine rebuild prior to the 2010 Big Adventure MKIII I have a nagging doubt now which way I fitted the seal. I know I am a devout advocate of "if it ain't broke don't mend it" but, I can't ride and I have time on my hands.
I have a spare timing chest gasket and possibly a seal. Therefore although the Bullet does not use much oil I may open it up & check. Or then again I might not
