Hi guys and a big HELLO to RUFFGEEZER !!! I like the cut of your jib, Sir !!--------Come on fellas, where's your sense of adventure ??------ I thought you were/are first and foremost --MOTORCYCLISTS (in the fullest and truest sense of the word ???)..................And that means we are individuals, "free radicals", entrepreneurial in our outlook on life, and take care of our own when the need arises.. ..........YES, of course it won't make any money---so wot ??......... YES, he'll have to do almost ALL the work required himself to get it happening and within a budget----when did that last put you off owning your Bullet??..............YES, at the end he'll have just another small bike... BUT.it'll be HIS bike that HE rescued.. And it will be HIS vision that will be encapsulated forever in an Enfield Flying Flea.......Lads, have you all forgotten that great feeling of excitement, like at the start of an ADVENTURE with your very first resto. job ?? So hows about we turn all this doom & Gloom on its' head and offer RUFFGEEZER ( love that handle !!) all the practical help we can, eh ?? .............................. OK, we can't PHYSICALLY help but we all have contacts, techniques acquired, favourite products, etc....so can point him in a general direction....I'll start the ball rolling by saying this }---- Forget ANY ideas of "Restoring to a former glory" because that WILL bankrupt you and no mistake...Try instead for a "Clean & useable" bike with NO CHROMING AT ALL....which means spray (or brush) painting, which is easy for you to do (or learn)............. I use this }--------------------
