Hello, all,
my Enfield has set some time misfires with warm engine. it is a very tinny noise. The exhaust pipe is tight. Does anyone have an idea where the mistake could be?

Hi, stupid of me.
Here are the dates: Year of construction 2000, 500cc Bullet Export.
And by the way, the ignition is in order and the carburetor I cleaned.

Olly "and the carburetor I cleaned" - so was it running OK before you cleaned the carb ?

Hello everybody, thanks for the first answers.
I had adjusted the tappets when the engine was warm and the ignition is, in my opinion, also well adjusted.
The noise was also before I had cleaned the carburetor.
I uploaded the engine noise to YouTube and you can listen to it at this link:

I could also imagine that the valve seat or the valve guide wobbles or slips when the engine is hot.
Would that be an idea?

Condenser? They sometimes fail when they get hot but are fine when cold. Cheap to try anyway.

That's not a good noise! It does sound valve, valve seat or rocker related. You will have to investigate so take the rocker covers off first and check the rockers, rocker blocks and valves (as much as you can see them) and also check the valve springs, retaining collets and keepers. It might just be a broken valve spring if re lucky! While you do this you can check the pushrods too, they have been known to break. Good luck,
