would the owner of a 1957-59 **500** Bullet be so kind as to tell me how much clearance there should be between the fins at the rear of the cylinder and the side of the SR1 magneto, please? I have my reasons, if not my marbles...

I make 6mm at the narrowest point Adrian, with an aftermarket alloy barrel.

I suspect the aftermarket barrel isn't too far off the Redditch item. I'm using something a little different barrel-wise, for which the rear fins need some trimming.
