Hi, my bullet 350, year 2007, fits original mikuni 24 carburetor( main jet 90,pilot jet 25,float level 25mm), standard air filter, standard exhaust.
I saw that from the exhaust pipe, when the bike is just above idling, some black smoke comes out. What can it be?
Thanks for the courtesy... what do you think?

If it only smokes at that throttle opening I wouldn't worry. A bit of tuning on the pilot screw might fix it but don't forget where the screw was before you moved it.

Black smoke is a sign of running with too rich a mixture, at least in that throttle position. If opening the pilot jet slightly doesn't cure it, I think our hosts still sell throttle slides with slightly larger cut-aways. On balance though, I think I would prefer a little puff of black smoke to having the carb spit back from being too lean.

Hi....this morning I saw gasoline out of carb...so I correct float level about 27 mm. In one of the Bullet service guide, the float level might be around 28/30 mm. Now my bike its ok, no black smoke, no fill out gasoline....
