Morning all.

I could have sworn that I'd signed up here months ago, but it doesn't seem that I did.

Anyway, after a 20 plus year gap since my first and last ride on a Royal Enfield (350 Bullet), back in April this year I finally purchased an R.E in the form of a pre registered Continental GT from JC's in Brum'.

Currently SMLE, for that's her name, has covered just over 2500 miles, most of which was on her first engine. Just running in the second engine. Failed exhaust valve put paid to the first one.

I've much catching up with you all on my adventures with SMLE over the last six months, so watch this space soon for an influx of videos thatI hope you'll find interesting and make you get out and ride, should you need any excuse that is!

I see one or two user names off the Royal Enfield GB Facebook page, so here's another off there.

Cheers all,

Chris.

Welcome, Chris! Gwilly, Chris' posts on Facebook suggest he's packed quite a bit into a short time with this Enfield!

Finally... there you are!

Hi Chris and all the best from the forum, whether you are riding SMLE (Now as that is an Enfield related name, who can guess the long form?) Or having fun with strips, bolts and gears.

YAY!
