My flasher unit stopped working, and I ordered the upgrade kit (23 watts) which is said to be fitting for my Jan. 99 Bullet 500.
However, the original flasher unit has 3 terminals, whereas the new one has two terminals.
How do I connect it ?

If one of the wires is black then leave it off as its an earth wire and not needed with the new flasher.

Tape it up and make safe as don't want it touching some other live connection and causing short..

Two other wires maybe blue and yellow/red just connect on two terminals as before..
