My January 99 Bullet 500 has the standard long exhaust. The inside part is loose and is making noise when the engine is running. Is there a way of fixing this, or do I need to order a new exhaust ?

I started it for the first time this year. The snow has nearly gone in Norway and very soon I can be on the road again. Lots of smoke since the Bullet had wet sumped. How I enjoyed that smell

Cut it, repair it, sleeve it and rejoin, anything is possible but how will it look?
Maybe time for a new one and it will look good...

It is rusted out. Time to buy a new one. Or there must be dozens of them lying around sheds when the owners removed them , brand new to fit more noisy ones. They might be glad to give it to you for nothing, just to get rid of it.
