I've recently removed my electric start from a 2007 Bullet along with the sprag clutch (it was making a racket). I've fitted a pre-sprag inner primary case and its all back together and looking lovely. The electric start had a thick wire going to the solenoid and another wire ran from the solenoid to the battery. I've disconnected these and two additional thin wires(black and white) which also ran from the solenoid and joined the mass of wires making up the loom. Am I going to have problems? Can anyone tell me what purpose these wires served. Everything is working now and there's a positive charge showing on my amp meter when running. Cheers, Martin

The two thin wires are connected to the starter button and only carry a low amperage, to initiate the solenoid which carries a very high starting amperage to the starter motor hence the thick wires.
