Its Guy Martins fault I got into Enfields.. blame him! I'm thankful though.. the programme he made in India was great. He left us with the lingering question as to what he was going to do with the bike..

well.. he was at a mates pre '65 trial at the weekend, and they got chatting.. he says he has no immediate plan to go fetch it and ride it home, but he intends to do so one day, be it filmed or not. It doesn't sound like and producers are pushing him into it at the moment. It also looks like we wont see him at the IOM this year.

It was Jim Moir that got me into RE - he bought a Classic 500 in 2010 and I remember seeing him on it on telly (can't remember the program). The problem for Guy Martin is that he won't be able to import his Bullet into the UK. Without EU emissions certification from the factory, the DVLA just will NOT allow it in - and Sid Lal ain't gonna do that for anyone, even God, as he wants you to buy a brand new one here in the UK. It appears that Guy may not be doing any road racing in 2016 which is a pity. I stood at Church Bends on the Billown Circuit last year watching him and Michael coming over the hill and tipping into the bends with their shoulders brushing the walls - they got Cojones!
