Just a mention that the 45th Annual Beamish Reliability Trial will take place on Sunday 21st June. Open to cars, motorbikes, and light commercials built before 1954, it starts from The Beamish Industrial Museum in Co. Durham and takes a 150 mile route through the Northern Dales to Arkengarth Dale, Swaledale and Wensleydale and back. The route includes a check point at The Bowes Museum (Barnard Castle) Buttertubs Pass, a lunch time stop on the village green in Bainbridge, a check point at Tan Hill and many other features. We would love to see more Royal Enfields either taking part or spectating. Contact me through this site, or the organiser George Jolly (0191 5360929) with any questions.
It is a seriously fabulous route and an excellent day out.

Hi Wilf! Let's hope for good weather - I was touring the dales yesterday distributing fliers in sleat, hail, rain and blasting wind. Coward that I am, I opted for the car.
If you get as far as Silver Hill between Keld and Tan Hill give me a wave as I will be marshalling there.
