Once again, inclement weather was no bar to the massed ranks of the RERCN as we headed to Tibenham Aerodrome to spectate the VMCC's annual Shakedown event. Yes it was cold and yes, threatening rain, but the mighty members made it to the erstwhile home of USAAF 445th Bombardment Group and while there, met a potential new recruit keen to join the fun. All in all, a highly successful outing!

(Okay, three of us went to Tibenham and it was bl**dy freezing but we did have fun, there were some fine vintage bikes to see and we did meet a new recruit, so an - ahem - moderate success.)

Many thanks to the members who turned out and here's to the next run...

A marvellous price of prose!

You would make a great reporter.

Sounds like it was good fun, I've just got Tornado back today and my day has been great as well.

Agree norwichbullet, a good morning out. Counted 5 Enfields, 3 Old school and 2 Indian. Unfortunately our new recruit's Bullet is suffering from some sort of crankshaft malaise, but still turned up on a classic Honda. A future outing for RERCN :- The BRIMBO meet and autojumble at Lopham Village Hall IP22 2LP on Sunday 10th May
