Hi guys !!---------Bought a pair of tickets on-line last Sunday night for this show ( Saved £4 on the door price)--- and they were with me in Wednesday morning's post !!....... My mate and myself--- we both live in Telford-- actually rode our bikes to the show ( now there's a novel idea !!) having had a goodly breakfast at a local Biker Cafe and braved the SNOW and SLEET, albeit showers rather than the permanent stuff, thank goodness...... Arriving at approx. 10.15 we parked the bikes in a nicely reserved Bike Parking Area, proceeded past the humungus queue ( which by now had gone past the main entrance gates ) to the ticket barrier and were ushered straight in !!........Bags of "Bargains" and things I didn't realise I needed 'till I saw them.....Bumped into a few old friends which included PALE RIDER from this forum....Time for a rest but no seats around by the walls so it's back to the Cafe' area where 2 small bottles of Orange juice and a Mars bar = £5 !!.... A final fling in the Autojumble and then back on our steeds and down into Ironbridge .... park-up by the bridge itself then over the road to the local Pork-Pie Emporium for a cup of Coffee and a nice sit-down to watch the world go by-----OK, let's go home ( via more short, sharp showers ) just in time for tea !!................ A Good day out, Grommet !!

Wotcha. I too went to the Telford show. Took the Drifter ( with my crutch carrier on the front ) so that I could park within limping distance of the entrance. Got there around midday and the "car park attendant" said the bike park was full. I pointed out the crutch on the front of the bike and explained I could not walk too far, and then asked him about any disabled parking. He said use the alternative car park about half a mile up the road. Rather than argue with him, I turned round and left. I did stop and phone a friend who was already at the show and asked him to take a look in the bike park. "Plenty of spaces" he told me. Looks like the curse of Mortons has now struck the Telford show . . . pity really.
