I've bought the Boyer electronic ignition kit. Having read the instructions, I'll probably get round to doing the actual conversion within the next week.
So here's my question: In the instruction sheet, it says to dismount the seat and install the Boyer unit under the seat. I wondered, is this for cooling purposes or for ease of access to the loom? Or both? Or can I 'hide' the unit somewhere, like the left hand toolbox? (I'd really like to hide it if posssible.)
Any advice is gratefully received.

I didn't buy the bike to add years to my remaining life. I bought it to add life to my remaining years.
