Having just read Scalys 'bonding with Bullet' posting (after meeting for first time at last nights Kent REOC meeting) I wanted to add a little about our trip.
We've just returned from a great 3 day visit on our bikes to the WW1 battlefields of Belgium.
We met up with Pieter who has a Royal Enfield dealership just outside Ypres. Pieter provided us with sat.nav. routes through the countryside that he has researched himself visiting many points of interest via more interesting routes than the normal 'tourist' trail.
If it's too long a haul to Belgium on your bike he also rents out sat.nav equipped 'military' Bullets (www.enfieldtobattlefield.be)
Just thought I'd mention Pieters schemes as they seem such a good idea for anyone planning a visit this 100th anniversary year (& not just because he bought us a beer!)
REgards, Mick
