HI anyone with any info best oils to use for gearbox main oil and priamary chaincase just restored 1961 350 clipper any info gladly recieved

Hi Columbo: I don`t think you can go wrong if you use Veedol 00 grease or SAE 85/140 gear oil in the gearbox and Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) in the primary chaincase. ATF type F, for Fords has less friction modifiers, so is more grippy (clutch is either in or out) standard ATF makes for a smoother take-up of the clutch. Take your pick.
