Does anybody KNOW what thread is in the bob weights for extraction? I know our hosts sell the extractor but I am about to fit a Boyer elect ignition unit and want to use a screw or bolt to adjust the magnet plate and tap it onto taper.

Ok, I think it may be 5/16 BSF, it's amazing what one could obtain or do at work after you retire!
