Hi,

I have a Flying flea that I am about to restore and need help to find the parts that are missing. The bike is mostly intact and in fairly good condition apart from surface rust etc.

I need a rear mudguard and ignition parts...condenser...points...cam.

All was there many years ago but after many house moves its all gone missing.

I am finding the ignition bits particularly hard to find info on being Miller.

Thanks

Wojo, have a look in the Parts Books Online section, go to the Flea book, click on an illustration and it will tell you if Hitchcocks have it. I can tell you now that the Miller stuff is very hard to get as it was (ahem) rubbish when new and wore out quickly. All old stocks have now gone and those still afflicted with the system tend to adapt other points to suit as a better replacement. Good luck and post some pics if you can? REgards, Mark

Hi Mark,

Been a bit busy hence the delay. Just filled out forms for the DVLA "not easy"
so am waiting with baited breath.

Sourced most of the bits I need from Hitchcocks and others but I am finding it impossible to sort the ignition.

Not so much points and condenser but the actual cam "its missing" I need some kind trusting person to lend me one so I can get one made or at least give me accurate dimensions.

Any ideas

Regards

John
