Hey grou,
I am the owner of a 1995 RE 500cc bullet, 4 speed right hand shift.
A year ago (Feb.13)I was facing problems with gear shifting, the 1st n 2nd gears were quite stiff, say when changing from 1st to 2nd gear i had to put a bit of pressure on it, with the help of this forum i ‘ve managed to adjust the GOSA (GEAR OPERATORSELECTOR ASSY) and everything was fine. However after a year or so and travelling no more than 1,000 miles same issue appeared, i.e put pressure when changing from 1st to 2nd gear.
Shall i apply same remedy, i.e adjust GOSA (unscrew the nut a bit?) – is this normal? Could travelling cause the GOSA to jump out of its adjustment?
