Coming back from 1st EFI service in Germany and new 18tooth procket fitted, saw a garage with 1 cent off unleaded 95. Just clocked 220km from full and fuel light still not showing. Filled up with 7.2L. Chuffed, because that works out to 3.25L/100. 50m down the road engine starts to cough. You guessed it. Has put 7.2L diesel in the tank. Contrary to popular opinion, Enfield does not run on anything. Got a breakdown lift to my local bike shop, now waiting for the good / bad news. Dealer seems to think not a problem. time will tell. Humbly yours

Many Enfields do run on Deseasel though! There won't be any harm done, except to your wallet.

Hey Trevorch------ look on the bright side }-- you already have a fuel injection system anyway, you now have diesel in the tank. Well, that's 2 out of 3  !!! Just get the dealer to skim 0.5" off the barrel base and BINGO !! there's the 15 : 1 compression ratio, a cheapie convertion  and you've just made Grunda12 a happy chappy into the bargain. Simples,really. Don't forget to keep that 7.2l you've paid for it after all.
