Hi , Has anyone tried fitting an Albion box into a WD CO B frame ? .I know it had a Burman box originally but using post war G engine plates bolted to the crankcase it will not line up with both top and bottom frame mountings. That is the rear spine from the front section and the long bolt passing between the rear frame sections.I don't mind making engine plates up but am being told there is no difference in rear frame sections as far as the mountings are concerned. Also the engine plates are same part number as CO, so why wont it go in ? I was expecting the top mounting to be out as I think I read it was slightly lower but not the lower ones.Anyone been here already and sorted it out?
