Hi Alan. Do you remember "Cold Fusion"!...I see that this magnesium burning engine was decribed in 2005 and their scientists said: "MC and the Tokyo Tech team believes it will take another three years of further research and experimentation before it is launched for commercial use"...so itlooks like it's already 7 years overdue....nothing wrong with petrol engines....just too many people on this planet using 'em.

To be fair, the mag engine is only 4 years overdue....and counting.

Hi guys, thanks for that quick response ---------- LEON, "I've seen the light, brothers!!"----- trouble is, how do I turn it off ??... Also, I bet some "Jobsworth" of an Inspector at the MoT would fail it due to SLIGHT mis-alignment ??...LES, I vaguely remembered that Cold-Fusion idea so had a quick GOOGLE which turned up this little beauty }------------ http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cold_fusion ------------------- Almost the "Holy Grail" of Physiscs in a way ie. Something for Nothing, sort of..... or a VERY CHEAP and ABUNDANT energy source. Now why did the Enfield Bullet suddenly come to mind again ???
