2018 C5, how does the fork stanchion come out of the head lamp casing when there is no 14mm hex to unscrew them? the fork caps seem to screw into blind threads, and when the stanchion is out is there another cap too unscrew to get the oil in? I just want to change the fork oil. What a faff.

Undo the hex bolt on the top and the leg will pull down and out, once you slacken the bottom yoke pinch bolt.
There is a cap on the fork leg with two flats that gives you access to springs and oil.
