Afternoon all, I am currently in the process of re-building the 1959 - 250cc clipper that my Dad had started before he sadly passed away.
The guys at Hitchcocks have been a great help, giving me advise and supplying the parts I required, but I am struggling with the 6 volt to 12 volt conversion.
I believe two of the three wires in the attached photo 4245 need to be joined, but I no idea which ones? Any advise on this, along with where each wire need goes would be very helpful.
If there is anything else I need to be aware off, so I can finally fire up that engine in memory Dad, would be really appreciated.
I know Dad had the bike running on the 6 volt set up, but I have purchased the regulator single phase power box (Hitchcocks part 200004) 12v coil, battery, lights, loom etc so I am now committed!
Look forward to receiving any advise that can be offered.
Alex
