I have seen a picture of a six wire classic bullet alternator with a stator looks , like any other indian bullet alternator but what are the additional red and green wires for ?

These alternators were/are for some Indian home market 350s with CDI ignition. If you look at the stator, one of the coils is heavily insulated, that's the CDI charging coil. The remaining five coils' output is split between headlamp supply and charging circuit like a four-wire alternator. The two extra wires are part of the ignition system.

The bikes fitted with this were the kick start AVL Machismo and Thunderbird as well as the very early (2002 only) 350 Electra. Later versions of these, particularly the electric start versions swapped to TCI ignition like the export market Electra-X.
