...Came across a website that might provide an hour or two entertainment for you guys - howmanyleft.co.uk This is a database of cars,bikes and commercials licensed or sorned in the uk.
For example, somewhere in Britain there are 28 (yamaha)SR500 powered BSA goldies taxed so presumably on the road. Anybody here ever seen one? Oh yes, and about 3,500 assorted RE bullets.

This only appears to cover new registrations from 2001 unless I've missed something? It just lists Indian Bullet variants under RE, and does not recognise other models. The graphs showing number of registrations (?) per year is interesting though!
