Tom this one looks like it is a larger dia outlet than the tiny stock one.
Also Tom i have a late '53 Twin 500,(or had until last week)basically same motor as the Meteor and it has the underbarrel breather plus a crankshaft clack valve so had the extra breathing
capacity that the Meteor lacked.
cheers

Actually i'm not to sure now,the hose looks larger but the metal outlet may not be,
but your idea of putting one under the Genny could be a good one, both working together
,i'll just have to look see if there's space to fit.colin ps did
you find out where the leak is coming from Tom?

I haven't had a chance to investigate yet but its definitely from the rear of the engine.. Probably the rocker feed.. I will do the hollow dowel mod.. It only leaks when engine is running so almost certainly from there..

As I said before check the oil tank breather under the barrel

There is no valve Tom, it is just a slot in the case about 3/8th inch long, beleive it or not, I have found it on Super Meteors but not on Interceptors

Tom go back and read the first page, there's plenty there on this grove, you will never se it unless you split the cases, but if there's any pressure in the oil tank oil fume will come out there
cheers
