gargole chrome will do it on an ipad, but safari won't. the youtube app won't either.



trick with google chrome is to tap on the options and select 'request desktop site' which gives you the same page as a laptop and hey presto.

Having registered it on 999, I thought... I'm off to France soon, so I should do 112 as well. So I did.

And got a message back saying I was already on. So from that, it seems they are identical?

It's interesting to note that just about everyone knows 999. I meet a LOT of people from all over the world at work, being involved in Elf and Safety; Many DON'T know their own emergency numbers, they'll say, like, Oh it's 110 for police, no 112, wait, that's fire isn't it? There certainly doesn't seem to be the universal immediate knowledge like here.
