Wow ! - been away for a few day and what a response - Scaleyback - sorry if I came across a bit short but we have had this debate at a higher level in the REOC and maybe I should of clarified that its post war bikes - and also in the present format - as Presto and Mark M have highlighted. As in the old days - " I was only carrying out orders " On behalf of myself and my fellow members in Mid Shires we are grateful to anyone who can spread the word across other social media sites to promote this weekend. It would be so wonderful to get as many Bullets there as possible and make the weekend special. It is officially an International event now with REOC members from Greece and Germany booked already.

Our 1992 Bullet 500 may well be available but as the distance is now beyond my limitation it will have to be trailered.

I think one of our members is also one of yours? Chris Minter? anyway, Andreas Papadakis and the greek club mentioned it in May, they certainly are coming, we have a few members expressed and interest, and another member, David Blasco runs a popular RE blog, so I will send a mention to him as well...

It's all looking very promising!

Hi Guys----------would a 2004 Bullet '65 be welcome ??..............only by the time myself and Paul H have finished working our magic it'll be in the style of an Army Despatch Rider machine ie}---- solo saddle, panniers, matt black exhaust and "grotty" matt cammo. green !!..........YES, put me down for that....( Joyce says I ought to be put down---Ha-Ha !!).........
Hi Wayne}----These days I need a sleep-over before going home again..Is there a local B&B you could mention ??
Hello Paul Henshaw}-----The best laid plans of Mice and men, eh ???...Looks like we do have a target date for that engine work after all........

Thank you all for your input - lets keep the ball rolling and hopefully get our 70 bikes ready to parade on the day - just how wonderful would it be to see 1949 - 2019 machines on parade in year order?

Alan, didn't at least some army bikes have matt silver rather than black exhausts and headlamp rims, etc? I know the Army BSA B40s did.
