It might be worth trying to find a left hand switch from a Suzuki trail bike of the 80's or 90's, I fitted one to a BSA and I'm pretty sure the Minda switches are copies of these. The later Electra-X switchgear is definitely cloned from the earlier Suzuki (Bandit?), I used a right hand switch when converting my Electra-X to push-pull throttle for a Mikuni pumper carb.
