Sorry,has to be brief up date. Quick strip of rear brake reveals no problems exept, dah dah less than finger tight brake security
arm bolt. Could be the answer I suspect! Thanks all of you - I love this site!

For your records: I once rode a long distance and noticed the read brake was slowing me down, I traced the fault to my new riding boots resting on the brake pedal.
