Thanks, Scaleyback, but that item (bead block) is to hold the bead down whilst the wheel is rotated to fit or remove the tyre as shown in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9n78tfftHo.
I have not yet been able to find the real name of the item we seek but it must be wider than these bead blocks so that there is more ‘bearing’ area on the wheel. I’m sure it can be made from a block of nylon, so I’m looking for an old skateboard wheel to try carving one. In the "Its a Triumph" video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TnwMX7gf8Y) it seems to be a cube with about ~2" sides with a slot to suit the rim shape. This could save me lots of fingernails and swear-fines!

Thanks WDCO40! And to be honest, I don't know, probably more a featurette or support film in the cinemas when the 'program' actually consisted of a support film, the interval with the ice cream girls and sometimes a mighty wurlitzer organ, and then the main feature. Usually with a smattering of 'Pearl & Dean' or 'Rank screen advertising' popped in along with the weeks British Gaumont or Pathe news reel.

now you just get several adverts, a few trailers and the film, NO ICE CREAM LADY and they wonder why less people go?!!?!?!???!?!!??

According to my late father who was a cinema projectionist these tended to be Promotional films for motorcycle shows or shown at owners clubs nights, some would be to long for cinema consumption of the day what with pathe news , pearl and dean and of course 'after an evenings entertainmant come to the Tai Wa chinese restuarant 33 cheltenham road, only 2 minutes from this theatre! .
