I would say that the bike is not fit for purpose, at present. Faulty wiring causing incorrect operation of indicators and brake lights render the bike unsafe to ride and I would not hesitate to require the dealer to pick it up and fix the problem. In any case tinkering with the wiring could lead to invalidating the warranty, so don't make excuses for them.
I just changed to a newish Triumph Bonneville but I am tempted to swap my Piaggio X10 for the GT Continental, when they have had a little more time to iron out the bugs.

Hi, Thank you all for your comments, I note them all with interest and have taken it back to the suppling dealer and I will let you know the outcome! Perhaps we shall all learn something for this very small/minor issue and that includes Enfield themselves.
It's not that big an issue as it's the middle of winter and been persisting down with rain and high winds so not much chance of getting out on it, but this would have been a whole different if the summer was here!
