Mark,

if you had dug a bit deeper on Henry Price's site you would have seen he has the separate components for a bottom end rebuild in stock, including UK-made crankpins! As our hosts only list complete cranks or the sleeved big end type con-rod and not the standard assemblies (I did check their on-line parts book) I think it's OK to post the link - scroll down the page for the relevant bits. My apologies to our hosts if not!

Thanks Adrian and Pete for the last two responses. I am probably getting myself a bit confused as I have seen the big end/conrod assemblies listed at Hitchcocks and Henry Prices, but following Tim's comments I thought there is available a UCE/EFI Indian factory made component that is a better standard than the one fitted originally to the electra x? That is what I was struggling to find online. Like I originally said still trying to weigh up all options.

Part number for the new factory UCE conrod/crankpin/bearing assembly is 888236

A quick check in the 'search' feature here show them in stock and quite inexpensive at about 100 pound.
