Went for a 130 mile trip this afternoon, all good, even response in all ranges, accelerating through gears is much better, only trouble i had was when i gave it some to see what running on main jet was like, it started stalling, bleeding choke had slipped on with vibration, it doesn't do it below 55mph, was a relief as my initial thought was "shit, main jet aint big enough" haha

Glad you got it sorted. RE the choke, I've always found that, with a tickler, I've not needed to use one on any of the Brit bikes I've owned over the years. If yours is the same, maybe either tighten the choke lever really tight in the open position or just remove it altogether? FWIW I have a concentric on my C5 EFI - that doesn't need it either, a good tickling of the carb suffices, though I don't often ride in the winter.
