Well, judging by some of the farm tractors I saw as a kid, you should be looking for a five year old child with a toilet brush.

Thanks for the info Scaly I know about Vignette's I have just spent an hour getting 5 of them of the caravan, heading that way next week. Going to look into getting a 350/500 trail bike just to keep there, I can leave it in the barn. There's a bike shop that has a selection of used trailes just up from the site. I'll need to find away around the insurance, luckily I know a few people there who will help me with that. Next thing is I might look buying a small property on the French/Swiss border. I quite fancy a place in France. Bonsoir. I take it you are fluent in French.

After 9 years in France? Can hardly speak a word, but mind you... Everybody that I know has become excellent in English!

Thats right why should we bother to learn a foreign language when all the foreigners speak English. Makes perfect sense not to learn it.

In France, I found you have to mangle the français before they will switch to anglais but if you make no attempt to parlais they'll carry on, "ma vache, je ne connais rein un mot" seems to work. They also delight in telling germans (in french) that they speak no german or english, and then switch to perfect english for un anglais.

Speak slowly and shout? - Non!

Fr: "You're not american"

Moi: "How can you tell?"

Fr: "You're not as loud"
