Well done Paul, fantastic ride out. I'm starting to like the idea of a diesel, provided it had enough grunt to equal a petrol 500.

midge i ride with petrol 500,s all the time most people i know with iron barrelled 500,s never go over 60 so the old yanmar clone that does 56mph on 17 tooth gearbox drive sprocket is fast enough (for me)if you need more speed you can fit a kubota twin 500cc out of an axiam car or a three cylinder diesel merc smart car motor or an industrial ponsun v twin motor the list is endless and the possibilities are numerous ,i,m going to fit a larger diesel in grunda 12 my bullet army bike veg oil rules and is super smelly ,i feel a straight through exhaust is in order be seeing you number 6
