Hi guys, thank you so much for your advice.
I just been looking at my bike now, it still wont run, but I found out something strange......when the contact breaker plate are attached propably to the distributor, when the two screws are tight, I got no spark, but if I loosend them up a bit, so that the breaker point are more or less loose , I got spark!!

Can anyone of you give me some idea how I can solve this?

Sorry bout my bad English, Im in a hurry now, summer is short in Norway, I so want to ride my bike again!!!!

Regards from Norway.

PS! Hope you have much better weather than in Norway these days :-)

Did you change the condenser as well as the points??
Undo the nut which holds the condenser to the back plate and allow it to hang free on the wire, (not touching any metal) and see if you get a spark like this..
It may be that it is shorting to earth and requires changing.

Another possibility is that it has been damaged by the advance weights making contact..

Think it was Potboiler had this problem and posted a photo of the damage to the condenser..

Check it whilst you have it removed from the backplate..

Hope you can understand my English as i can't speak Norwegian thats for sure..

Thanks Gwilly for Your respond, I will check the condenser.
But how can make it so the condenser dont shorten to Earth, any ideas?

And I understand Your English, no problem! :-)

If the condenser is bad then it will short through the metal casing..

If it is a good one then it will not short and all will be well.

If you remove it from the back plate and you get a spark at the plug then it is almost certain its the condenser at fault..

I loosend the condensor from the back plate, but I still got no spark.
Then I loosend the backplate a bit, then I got spark again, so I got a circut on something.....

Well this is annoying. It can only be the points spring or one of the wire terminals touching the base plate when the screws are tightened and the base plate flexes slightly outwards.

Mark the base plate against the body with a scribe or felt pen so that it goes back in the same place.

I have a spare unused points plate (think it still has points & condenser) to which you are most welcome. Let me know and we can arrange for it to emigrate to Norway.

Otherwise, think seriously about a Pazon Sure Fire ignition, available with 12V or 6V TCI boxes!

Thanks for the advice.

I have already tried another points plate, but I got the same result, still got a circut, so I got some work to do with the plate, getting a bit tired over this problem now....

Thanks for your offer Adrian, but I got a spare point plate, but where can I get Panzon? And what`s the price?
